Hello and welcome to Mompreneur Media. Tell us a little about about yourself:
My name is Bonnie and I’m a mom to 3. I have always loved books and knew that selling them would be a great fit.
What inspired you to start a book business?
When my son was young (he’s a teenager now) I recieved a letter in the mail about buying  personalized children’s books. I looked online to check out more about it and liked the fact that you can have a book starring your own child in it. I also, noticed  on the website that you can start your own personalized children’s book business. It was many years later before I started  My Kool Kidz Books, but am very happy to be doing it now.
What is so unique about My Kool Kidz Books?
I started My Kool Kidz Books  because it’s unique. My Kool Kidz Books  star your own child in their very own book. For example it has the child’s name, age, city, family/friends and more in the story along side the child. Children really experience joy and excitement when they open up their book and discover that it is all about them. My Kool Kidz Books really do put the “fun” into your child’s story time. Imagine the giggles you will hear from your child when you read to him or her.
How do you run a book business around your busy family?
Well while my boys are in school and my husband is at work. It leaves me with my 3 year old daughter. So I try to get business time in during some down times such as naps, a quiet activity, and at times I will turn on her favorite TV show when I need to do something that has to get done right away.
What kind of approximate start up costs are involved for those who thinking about starting book business?
It cost me  a few hundred dollars to start My Kool Kidz Books . I had to purchase a domain name and hosting. I also, bought a the smallest dealer package I could afford. The price of the packages vary depending on what’s included. I also, ordered business cards from Vistaprint.

Very cool! I love how personalized the book is!
These books are very cool and the illustrations are magnificent. My kids want one of their own just so they can see their names in their own book 🙂
