Where To Find What Is Trending On Social Media

Three platforms  that will help you find what is trending on social media right now

Do you find yourself feeling lost when it comes to what is trending on Social Media ? It is really actually much easier than you think! To find what is trending is helpful to join in the conversation online. When you join in the conversation you can also showcase your knowledge and expertise. Here are 3 Social Media platforms and where to find what is trending.

Google+

Google+ has a ‘What’s Hot’ and a trending section where you can find what is popular. Simply go to your Google+ Home page and click on Explore. The ‘What’s Hot’ Section is on the left hand side and the trending section is on the right hand side. (shown below) Here you can click to see what people are saying and how they are joining in the trending conversation. This will also help when posting your blog posts or Social Media to see what hashtags are trending. Include those hashtags when you post on Social Media and voila! You are in the trending conversation.

Facebook

I can’t tell you how much I love Facebook! Facebook makes it super easy for you to find what is trending. Simply by logging into your account, head to the Newsfeed page and you see what is trending on the right column. What is trending on Facebook is a mixture of links that your friends have shared, what is a hot conversation or popular news. By clicking on “See More” you will be directed to a page where you see all of the trending topics. By seeing these topics, you can join in the conversation and have content for new posts.

Twitter

Twitter also makes it super easy to find what is trending on Social Media. Log into your Twitter account and the Trends will be on the left hand side. These are Tailored Trends based off of what Twitter thinks you will like. This makes it easy to join in the conversation by including the appropriate hashtag along with your tweet. So for example (picture below) if I want to join in the conversation about Chicago, I will just simply include the word Chicago in my tweet along with the hashtag #Chicago.

Seeing what is trending on Social Media gives you content for not only your Social Media posts but a blog as well. Trends change throughout the day so join in when it’s HOT!
