Finally, the great thing about being your own boss is you can work when it suits you. However it’s worth having some working hours in mind to keep you on track. Even if you’re not always able to stick to them, knowing roughly what you should be doing can be helpful. When you do work, go to your office instead of answering emails in bed or typing up work during family time. It prevents you from becoming overworked and the boundaries between work and home from becoming too blurred.
