Wi-Fi woes

There is a certain percentage of us who never actually relax even when on vacation, but that is going take its toll on your mind and body at some point.

The major problem for the confirmed workaholics amongst us is that it’s way too easy to stay connected by logging into the available Wi-Fi and checking your emails and picking up your voicemails while you are at it as well.

Stay in any major hotel such as the Marriott Scottsdale Camelback Inn, for instance, and you will Wi-Fi availability, so you are going to have to be disciplined and make a decision not to keep checking what is going on at the office while you are away.

If you can’t resist the temptation to stay logged off and in relaxed mode, the other option is to leave any work-related devices like a tablet behind and come on vacation without the technology and the means to enter work mode at any point.

Get some fresh air

The whole idea behind a vacation is put yourself into a different environment and take the opportunity to relax.

If you spend a lot of your time inside with meetings and finishing tasks at your desks you are probably in need of a healthy dose of natural Vitamin D from the sun, so get some outside time scheduled into your vacation.

Taking a long walk along the beach or enjoying a stroll in an area that boasts some inspiring natural scenery will help you to chill out and clear your mind from the usual distractions of business.
