Tell us a little about yourself:

I am a mom to 3 amazing and finally grown kids ages 25, 21 and just about 18. My professional training is a a clinical social which I practiced for many years. After taking some time off to raise my children, I grew restless. Being an entrepreneur was not on my radar but I was open to new opportunities. Over the past 15 years or so I have had many businesses and have learned a great deal along the way. I currently own a very successful brick and mortar women’s clothing boutique, my own virtual skincare franchise and a consulting company for aspiring mompreneurs. My desire to help people is evident in all of my businesses and is something I have been drawn to for most of my life!   Related Article: Mompreneur Interview: Kelley Legler Inventor of Baby Jack Blankets

Where did the inspiration for Jackie Konin Enterprises come from?

As a successful mompreneur, I am frequently asked to give advice to other moms who would like to create a business. I hear so often a similar lament from others about feeling as though they would not be able to do what I do. Of course, I don’t believe this and try to inspire and motivate those moms to dream big and take the steps to fulfill those dreams. My innate desire to help others combined with my experience created the business inspiration!

Who is your product or service for and how does it benefit them?

I provide motivation, inspiration and a change in mindset for aspiring mompreneurs. I want any mom who has a desire to create a business for herself know that it is possible. I help equip them with the tools, resources and blueprint to realize their vision.

What kind of approximate start-up costs were involved in getting Jackie Konin Enterprises from concept to launch mode?

I have been in a Mastermind group for the past 5 months, learning and creating. I have hired a web developer and a graphic designer, and have invested in a few courses. I love learning and want to share my knowledge with others. Over the course of the past year, I have invested about $15,000. Not all of that is a direct expense, of course, but it all helps in the execution of the business.
